˶ Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo; President and CEO: Haruo Naito, “˶”) today announced that, in an effort to help provide relief to those areas in the United States impacted by damage from the April tornado outbreaks, the company will be making a donation of $200,000 to the American Red Cross.
As a human health care company dedicated to improving the lives of patients worldwide, ˶ strongly supports the efforts of the American Red Cross to help those affected by this devastating disaster.
The donation from ˶ will be divided between local and national relief efforts. $100,000 will be given directly to the American Red Cross chapter of Research Triangle Park, NC, where ˶'s main U.S. manufacturing facility is located. These funds will be put toward providing specific relief to North Carolina residents impacted by the tornadoes.
The remaining $100,000 will go to the American Red Cross's national Disaster Relief Fund, which supports the needs of residents in states impacted by the tornadoes.
˶ sincerely hopes that its donation and support will help with relief efforts to aid victims of this disaster and prays for the early recovery of the afflicted area.
